If you can jack the posts out, a sledge will take care of the cement. Up here, the posts usually go 42 inches into the ground. How far they go in your area would depend on how far the winter frost reaches.May be a stupid question, but I have a chain link fence and several of the poles have cement on the ends (from securing in ground). I'm guessing scrap yards won't take this? Would I have to cut off the good parts and throw away the cement covered parts?
