Just make sure u yank the wires leading to the controls on the dishwasher. On my first dishwasher i scrapped i didnt do it. I got 12 electric motors 7 from vacuums smaller than motors from appliances but its still got copper in em 5 from appliances(dishwashers dryers n washer) cant wait to scrap a refridgerator or freezer.

Take a file to the windings. Some are copper clad aluminum.
