    My non-ferrous yard would class it the same as plumbers brass (chromed), which is only about .20 less than clean yellow. That white brass edge is still considered a brass alloy with about 50-60 % copper.
    White brass AKA : nickel silver, german silver.
    No Not a stitch of real silver. LOL
