    Very simple.....weigh a few jars (even a digital bathroom scale will give you good idea)........Call scrap yard......Scrap pays here 8.50/100lbs......Multiply weight of jar times current scrap price.......You them have value of each jar in scrap..........Figure in gas to yard etc.....etc......Personally I would have an estate sale if possible.........Stand firm on your prices above scrap value and whatever does not sell SCRAP IT.....Oh well whatever personally I would just scrap stuff like that not worth the trouble..........If you had 100 jars and tried to sell each one for $1 then you may have to make 100 separate transactions to collect your $100.........Not worth it.....Also try local auction houses they love estate items and may take it all in bulk
