Ugggh... CRT televisions. I actually charge to take them, because:



I had two come in about three weeks ago. One Sony and one Magnavox- both working, with remotes. They were both about 15-27" TVs. I had a friend who wanted one- he would take whatever came in. He picked the Magnavox to my surprise (I thought the Sony was nicer). Three weeks later... I still have the Sony. I cannot even give these things away. One more week, and it gets scrapped.

If you have the space, why not try to sell it? The Sony sits in the closet next to my office, so no big deal for me. Free TVs are my way to give back, but nobody wants handouts anymore, apparantly
