Answers with determining what to pay for scrap.

thanks a bunch for this, i really think this is great info....one thing i can add that may help is..if you are not confident yet, then simply dont pay for scrap if you can help it...haul stuff off on halves or a percentage...i still do alot of hauling on halves...i always subtract gas then divide the money....if i have to do alot of physical labor, such as cleaning, detailed seperating , or lots of heavy hand loading. and the other party does not help.. then i will not do 50/50...i will take a higher percentage



just remember keep your receipts, and if possible have the people you are hauling for come with you to the yard...lately ive been making alot more money charging people 100 to 120 dollars to haul cars off for them...
