Looks to be way too much work for my efforts. As sledge said handle it once/twice and done! Nasty it is, what was it used for? Don't think I have ever seen cable like that, obviously used in "Nasty" conditions as well. Each conductor (6) looks to have teflon insulation, insulated with rubber? Then stainless covered by vinyl? Had to be expensive installation whatever it was used for.
