    Well, if it were me, I'd call some yards. Tell them what I have and what is their best price on such a load. Figure out how far away you'd be willing to take the trailer(s), and call those yards. Then figure up your time, fuel, etc. For example, if you could make $400 more taking it to a yard further away, but it costs $800 to get it there, that wouldn't be terribly wise. That kind of math only "works" in the government.

    I agree, fuel cost will be considered when a decision is made.
