What can I buy and resell at yards?

Recently I bought a bundle of phones at a scrap yard for 2$ per LB I sold it to another yard in a different state for 6$ LB.

I made like 600$ from it -- that's good money. So I started thinking, what else can I buy from a scrapyard that's more abundant than phones (their hard to find) and find a buyer for it that pays more. If you guys could answer that it would help so much -- thanks!

If I could answer that, I'd do it myself.

Brass items that are not messed up can fetch way more than scrap on E-bay.

If you have any mechanical ability scrap yards can be a treasure trove. If your looking for an east flip good luck! It's gonna be hard to make money off of a business who's business is to make money unless it is mutually beneficial.

i buy extension cords at a local yard for .70 cents a pound and bring them to the yard next door and sell them for .90 cents a pound . I don't usually do that. because I have a wire stripper , I bring them home I get bare bright price for stripping them. gotta love that $3 a pound .

A lot of the yards around here don't like to wheel and deal, they just want to make the money and keep everyone else out of the loop.
