Yah can't post pics till you have a few posts in.

Turntables are something people are activelly seeking if they work or are high quality turntables.

If its got a steel platter its probably junk unless it can turn around at 77rpm (plays real old records)

If its a Ali platter & not rusty or corroded & still works I save them up & intend to sell them to a second hand record store that repairs & sells them.

High grade turntables will get you ca$h $$$ before you even think of doing anything else with it.

High grade turntable manufacturers that I know of from this list. >List of Turntable Manufacturers

    AmazÓn Audio
    Acoustic Signature
    Audio-Technica
    Cambridge
    Creek
    Denon
    Dual Turntables
    Dynavector
    Garrard
    Gemini - Dj turntable
    Lenco
Marantz - Sought after brand, Gold colour.
I sold a 2nd hand CD player for NZ$100, value is $300 British pounds or NZ$500 or US$400. American made. This one > http://www.audioscope.net/images/marantz_cd_63-5.jpg New $2000? Marantz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    Nad
    Numark - Dj turntable
    Oracle
Pink triangle - Company formed by a few NewYork gays, sought after items.
    Pyle
Rega. - I found a Rega planier II in a 2nd hand store for NZ$100. Its sat there for a few months untill I found out its worth NZ$300 to sell to a dealer, then it sold before I went back, easy $200 ****!
    - So even major 2nd hand dealers don't know what they are worth...............
    Stanton - Dj turntable
    Technics - Dj turntable
Thorens. - Swiss made, mines a TD320, cost me NZ$350 in the mid 80's. Could sell it for ca$h now for, NZ$350.... & It has a NZ$125 Audiotechnia stylus (needle) on it. Say $400+ value all up.
    Townshend Audio
    Vestax
    Well Tempered
    -----------

I will say it again, even some major 2nd hand dealers do not know what they are worth. Check out the stylus on it too, they start at over $25 each & quickly go past $100.
This is something where you could make some good quick $$ when doing yard sales.
