I use to own a construction company that did work for the local cable company. The fittings I have are close to 30 years old. They cut easily with a pair of diagonal cut pliers. But they look silver inside or when i scrape them. They look like the ones in the bottom pic of the second post but are brass colored on the outside. I wired all the local hotels and had to buy my own supplies. I have several thousand of these. They are still sealed in original packs. Might be better off to sell for intended use?
    Thanks for input,
