    1983 starcraft pop up camper

This guy replied to my ad on Craigslist asking if I'm interested in this 1983 starcraft pop up camper, and I was wondering how much I'd get for this after I gut it out

    camper

If you were to take it to scrap I would charge him to take it. The last camper I took away I charged $650. The problem now is it still in my yard 3 months later.

Why not offer to take it for free and then refurbish it and resell it.

But it might make a good utility trailer once you strip it down to the frame. Why not get paid to get a trailer. Ensure you get the tittle changed over correctly. Mike.

We got a similar camper a few months ago. Just now got around to tearing it down. Not much in scrap value..... maybe $100 but we are redoing the trailer into a utility trailer and already have a buyer.... easy $250

That's what I would do. A small flat bed always comes in handy. You could also use it for a sorting trailer and make "bins" for your non-ferrous (just cover it so it doesn't get full of leaves / trash / water.....)

The guys asking 100 for it... Ya right. Not even worth all the time and effort that'd go into it

I would never buy one to scrap out. You should tell him if he cant find a buyer you'd get rid of it for $100! Make him aware of all the WORK that goes into you getting rid of the stupid thing. Some people right?
