I'm all about ebay with this stuff and tend to avoid gold buying shops (because of the low percentages they pay).
On the flip side, people tend to pay much, much more for precious metals on eBay, all day long. It's really one of the best places to go with a small amount like you have.
If you live near a Craigslist city, you could also try on there, as there may be shop owners/hobbyists who would offer you a fair price for it.
