Should be considered C&F brass (cocks & faucets) which should be a better price than yellow brass but not as good as red.

The yard I go to just started buying faucets by themselves @ .75 lb. Yellow brass was $1.80 last trip. I used to break faucets down but now I turn them in whole and I get anywhere from $2.25 each and up depending on size. Heck, even if a smaller one is 2lbs I think I still make out better turning them in that way. Most I ever got for one was $4.50.
