Catalytic Converter Prices Gone Down the Drain? - Page 2

Ok, so I finally got around to sending some cats to APA last week. Just to do a comparison, I got a quote for a half full Jeep converter from both Rockaway and APA.
Rockaway offered me $71 while APA give me $120 for it!
It was great dealing with APA. I will go with him again next time I have some cats to sell!

But around July, their prices just went down by alot. I was quoted $45 for a Volvo Catalytic converter around end of July so I decided to hold off (I was expecting close to $100) and I just got another quote today and they now offer $25 for the same one.

right now iron is $15.00 per ton.that don't even cover my fuel to haul it.if I need quick money for something I will take three gallons of copper wire in but hate giving it away
