Check on resale first. Even if the cooling unit is shot, I should be worth something to someone as a storage locker. More money in reuse or repurpose .
I had sold a large stainless fridge that worked but no
refrigerant so it did not cool down. I contacted all the Resturant suppliers in the area and nobody was interested. That's in my area though. Some guy eventually bought it and turned it into a smoker.
It will be hard to get clean stainless with all the insulation inside.
