Prices are already scheduled to go up in both January and February here and already have a yard offering $350/gt for cast iron starting next week which is over twice as high as it has been since I moved here in 2017.

If that is true and it gets to that price.... holy moly.... everyone is going to start scrapping, that'll be higher than I've ever seen and will be pretty crazy. I should start hoarding now and quit taking my steel in. I think I got $0.065/lb (which is pretty GREAT compared to what it has been over the last year or two) last time I went in this week.... but if $0.15/lb is on the horizon.... Perhaps I should just pile it up out back for a bit.
