    On point, though, I have a question... I have about 250-300 pounds of brake rotors. Should I expect a higher price for them than "tim/shread/whateveryouryardcallsit"? Or is it probably not worth messing with for such small weight?
    The yards by me (when open lol), one has a special category for rotors, and the other will buy them as heavy melt steel (hms or #1 iron at other yards). These prices are usually almost doubles shred/light iron prices. For example I think #1 iron was at $0.05/lb whole light iron/tin/shred was at $0.03/lb... Both those have probably gone down by now though. If you can hold them for a while may be worth waiting on prices to rise
