    Are you on the East Coast? Prices like that here and people would be removing mailboxes, swing sets anything that they can get there hands on!

    I read your article and makes sense that prices have been stagnant for months. China manipulating the market and hording to sell it back later on at a higher price then they bought it for

    Took a small load of pc metal and got $0.095/lb. They classified it as shreddable. Clean aluminum was @ $0.45/lb., alum. cans $0.60/lb., stainless 304 $0.40/lb.. This is in Hickory, NC.

    Steel dropped to $80.00 GT at my yard today

    Copper dropped 20 cents a lb across the board. AL seems to be the only thing staying steady. Not sure whats going on!

    I stopped scrapping at 4 1/2 cents per pound. Today the price is down to 2 cents a pound.
