    North Iowa prices

    Just took a load in this morning.

    Insulated 0.75lb
    high grade boards 3.30lb
    #2 copper 2.66lb
    old sheet 0.53lb
    electric motors 0.25lb

    Not too bad prices hope that helps someone in the area.

    Prices went down last week in this neck of the woods, must have slowed things down, my yard which is normally open on Saturday, had a sign posted closed Saturday till further notice.

    I notice about this time of the year the prices drop then picks up around dec or jan so hopefully will in your area. Sounds like it must be slowing down if closing on saturdays hope it picks up for ya.

    its funny about prices the ups and downs like batteries for example the other day my yard dropped them to 17clb from 25 which is big but with what I am getting I still triple my money but I still base a lot of my prices for metals from when I was a teen getting 80cents for number 1 and a whopping 15cents for reg alu 24for ext lol that way I am not always disappointed when prices drop lol

    I was talking to guy ar the yard I go to. He was saying the only thing that have any chance of changing is copper an aluminum. I do alot of electronics so I get alot of boards as long those don't drop I'm good
