oh goody I get to do some math. I just weighed one of the brass pieces its 4 grams. There are 454 grams in a pound. So that means 113 drives for a pound of brass. Now lets say it takes 5 seconds to pick up the side cutters and pull that little piece of brass from the motor. Thats 9.41 minutes per pound of brass. At 2 bucks a pound for brass thats $12 an hour. not to mention at 5000 drives if only half of them have the brass piece thats 20 pounds of brass. I dont do it though I make the kid do it

I make her a deal if she pulls the boards and the brass piece I let her keep the carcass for shred. Its funny she fills up a trash can of the drives and says here 10 bucks in gas

Ok you proved me wrong. But if you have a large volume, I rather work on the 4-8 dollar a lb stuff than 1.75...lol!
