Thanks for the quick turn around! And for helping to keep my belly full and my nap times peaceful! Peace, Love, and all groovyness... and whatever and whatnot

BroJer - I forget where you were located, but are you now doing you work in Phoenix? If so could you share the difference in shipping expense? How much more did it cost to ship where your at now, compared to prior location? Did you modify how and what you shipped? Thanks in advance!

I just sent CFCS a couple of pallets of e-scrap and within the week it was picked up from my house, delivered to CFCS, sorted and paid within the same week. They set up the freight cause this was my first time. Thank you and I will be selling to them again.

I'm new to scrapping. I would like to send about 5 computers, scrapped, to CFCS. I don't have time to read 80 pages of threads. Is there a good youtube where it explains how to pack the scrap, how to separate the components, what not to do, what to do? I have the computers apart and want to pack and ship it. I don't know if they want me to cut off the wires or not. Do they want everything but the case? CFCS's youtube has nothing, it should IMO.

Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse, but, Mario, is it possible that you can post a youtube video on your youtube site that only has one video https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-B...aMLs9CRX4CAAKA You wouldn't believe how helpful this would be. It will probably take you a few hours. I'm picturing you could have one of your guys, or yourself open up a box of scrap that has been sent to you. You could then describe what you liked and didn't like about the packaging. Was the memory and CPU's separated correctly. Was the motherboard's batteries removed. See, this CPU or motherboard is worth more than this one. Etc, etc, etc. Or you could pack your own box and say how this box is perfectly packed and then we could try to duplicate that. So, so, so helpful to newbies like me. Please.

Take some time and educate yourself on the different boards, how to identity, and their value. There are a ton of threads on the forum WITH PICTURES!! I can understand specific questions being answered, but its your job to understand the basics. Do some reading and your questions will be answered. Also wanted to send a shout out to Mario and his staff. Dropped off a load this afternoon and it took all of 5 minutes. Thanks again for being top notch!!

I don't have the time to read all these threads or search through them to find the answers to my questions. I have one load to send to Mario. I do not plan on becoming a full time scrapper like yourself. I just want to do it right the first time so that Mario's crew spends as little time possible resorting my shipment. I could either spend hours of time (which I do not have) combing through all these posts and finding out what I need to know, or I could watch one 20 minute video of what Mario would like to see in a box. What would you rather do?

Just make sure what you put in the box is items that pay more than per pound shipping costs. If you do this then you are guaranteed to make some money! Fill up the box, get shipping quote if it's good then mail it in and wait for your check! I would like a video of you opening your check though...

What I do is use newspaper to separate the different style of boards. I'll take the small sockets and stack them together, separate, then the large socket (if I have them). If you don't know what those are then you need to do a little homework.

Mario is a very busy man and his crew is some of the hardest working I've seen, don't think they have time to hold your hand. Your box does not have to be perfect, just separate to the different categories (read up what they are). I put the ram and cpu chips in ziplock sandwich bags to keep them together. Small stuff and the baggies I use to fill in holes around the box. Here's a couple of links with some helpful info for you, (all newbee's). http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/e-was...ification.html

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you. Exactly what I needed in book/picture form. Much more helpful than "read all the posts." I look forward to Mario's video. I'll shut-up now about this subject.
