Wish I could. Too new of a member to be able to send a PM...
Everything has been done through his website historically, but with no contact number, and his email not working correctly, contacting him isn't as easy as I'd like it to be...
Hey, Ewasted. I'm sorry for filing that lot with you all back in early December. I haven't gotten a chance to respond yet because I was going to do my Eagle Project in Haiti and then right after that, I got US Citizenship which i should have gotten 17 years ago, and then we moved to Georgia. I have plans to try and ship it out this week or next week. Last communication we had was you requesting the weights of each box I have. Where should I let you know of that information? Again, I sincerely apologize for not immediately following through on the package shipment stuff. Thanks!
Do those little riveted in plastic tabs that hold the telecom boards in place need to come off?
Hello all,
sent my package to ewasted awaiting updates. So the first thing i would like to note is that if you ship it yourself without them sending you a label, you do not get the same treatment as there prepaid label. I sent my package usps priorty, and its shows delivered on usps.com, however they do not show it as delivered. so i contacted them via the contact us form and this is what i was told. we do not scan your items in when we receive them if you do not use there prepaid labels. no biggie but my usps shows delivered to bedford ohio??? so i'm not sure if they received it or not....
I will update you as i get more info. Just wanted to let you know if you want a delivery confirmation from them you have to use there labels.
Hello
I would like to clarify that you do get the same treatment... there is a step that is missed since we don't have full disclosure or control. With that being said, we don't check items in if you ship it on there own until we actually OPEN it... this has helped us avoid all sorts of headaches.
Completely understand the opening and sorting part. however i wish it would have been said somewhere that it would have been scanned in if i would have used your label. i wrote the lot id on the tag on the outside as well as the packing slip i printed. also why does it show bedford ohio on the USPS website and not the address i sent it too?
Thanks.
We do our best to address all issues of course. As our business changes and as dynamic as it is, it is hard to address all of the changes... particularly with our site, as it is pretty old and went through several expensive revisions.
Regarding the writing on the outside, you have to understand lots of boxes have lots of writing... I have instructed our guys to not look for black writing and to just open it as we process it. It has worked out very well.
Regarding Bedford on the USPS site... the post office is in Bedford, Oakwood does not have a post office, hence it saying Bedford. Pretty common in Ohio atleast.

Thanks for your time. just the first time dealing with your company so i don't know what to expect.
thanks again..
I'm interested in having you be my motherboard buyer since your prices for them are great. From experience do you know how much it may cost per pound to ship it from Illinois over to your location?
Happy to assist, please email us at info@cashforcomputerscrap.com
I just got another load of stuff done with CFCS, always a pleasure! You guys that are starting to ship; get the stuff cleaned up and pre sort what you can. Things get done in a timely manner and you WILL get paid!
Hi it's me again!! I am actually in the process of helping The Nevada County Historical Society with its first shipment to you guys. I am heading up the material breakdown and sorting because I have done business with you so many times in the past. Of course, like I always do, I am coming across material that I am not quite sure how to sort. They got the material from a local company that downsized a while ago and a lot of the technology is proprietary to the company which is probably why I am having issues. I'm thinking that the best bet would be to separate boards/pieces that I have more than one of from the rest of the boards. Would that be the best way to go about this? If not, point me in the right direction and I will happily do it whatever way makes it easier on you. I can post pictures if you need me to. Just let me know ! Thanks!!!
Mario thank you for your valuable service. Please give us an update on the extended processing time.
Please email us at info@cashforcomputerscrap.com with that inquiry and your lot ID number. I will look into it for you! Thanks
I've already left a message lot # 1476971458.Thanks again.
The Historical Society just sent the box in today! Used the freight option due to the weight of the box - I am super excited to bring another customer to an AMAZING company. You earned my business years ago and I'm not going anywhere. Thanks!
Another load bites the dust! These guys gitter done!
Hi Ewasted
I am wondering if I put everything in a box but kept the hard drive boards and cd/dvd boards separate would I avoid the .30 sort fee?
Sorry for the newb question
Question about AC Adapters. Do you buy both of these style for the prices listed?
Thanks!

Are you still behind on processing at the moment? I'm super excited to see what that box came out to be :)
Finally getting around to sending in my first box of ewaste, should have sent it in a couple years ago but what can ya do lol. Just wondering if I choose PayPal if I would be hit with Paypal fees?
I am only getting small loads at the moment 1 or 2 gaylord boxes of boards or power supply. I am in Ohio if I drop them off can I get paid at drop off?? I have bee a reader on this forum for a while. Your prices seem good. I get scared when I see posts about delays of several weeks to get sorted and paid. I have been burned a few times as others have closed this past year and material was never returned or paid. The few places I go to now in pa and ohio just rotate my boxes into a new box, check the weight, look through the boards for example make sure all large socket. they pay me and I go. When delivered in person does it work the same way here? Thank you
I went there in person (I made an appointment). They sorted and weighed my stuff in front of me. Asked me if I was satisfied with the totals, I said yes. About 5 minutes later, I had a check in my hand.
Of any buyer you may deal with, this is one you don't have to worry about. I started out sending 1 or 2 60 pound boxes in at a time. I was apprehensive also. Every time, I watched the website and my sheet would show up with the weights and prices of what I had sent. Every time, without fail, something was graded higher than what I anticipated. I got comfortable enough to really step out and send one Gaylord. The same thing happened. It got picked up, delivered, sorted, and the payment showed up in my bank account. My last couple of shipments have been much larger. And even though I may have had to wait an extra day or two, the same thing happened. It got picked up, delivered, sorted and several groups of boards were valued at more than what I expected. For me there is no fear here. Only a business man that keeps you informed, is honest enough to tell you when they have situations on their end that causes him frustration, and normally what is being done to fix any problem that is existing. Many others on this forum will tell you similar things. And why? Because we believe in what this buyer does and says. There are several other buyers active in hie forum that are also of the same quality. However, since you are in Ohio, this is probably the place for you to get the best value for your items.
Yes with the above. I've been selling to Ewasted for several years, check my join date and that's the first year I sold to him. I also recommend a in person transaction. My wife and I traveled from coastal NC to Ohio and got a great education from Mario and how he grades material. 73, Mike
This is a great forum I did not expect such quick replies. I have several thousand pounds of laptop motherboards and $4 looks like a good price. I am going to call mario and setup a appointment.
I would like to do a trial of a 1000 pounds monday tuesday. Does anyone know what is a good number to call him at? Please also confirm this is the guy working out of the old berman moving storage building? I will post my results to let everyone know how I did. Mario if you are reading this, like to sell you 1000 # laptops boards at the posted $4 quick. Once we get that done will bring the box truck up with 3-4000 # more by the end of next week. Volume is going way up lately so just wanted to make sure it is a pay on the spot like other yards. I need to get cash back in my account quick to pay for incoming material. I hope to sell you many loads over the next few months as volume keeps increasing on my end. everyone sorts different so look forward to see how you sort telecom etc. my boxes will be all same items no 500 pounds mixed everything in one box that needs hours of sorting. Thank you hope to see you soon.
Just wanted to give a better late than never update. My first transaction with Mario and team went smooth. Turnaround time was quick and payout was spot on. I look forward to doing business with them again. Now I will attempt to ship a much larger load if I can figure out how to keep the shipping costs down. Anyone know what they pay for peripheral boards? Thanks!
