I thought I would give another little shout out to Ewasted and Co. here. My latest batch of e-scrap was dropped off at FedEx here in NE Kansas on Wednesday noon, arrived at his facility this morning and my Paypal account went *ka-ching* just a few minutes ago- awesome! A little data for comparative purposes: the boxed weighed ~32 lbs at shipping; my gross was $109.27, shipping was $19.84 (~$0.62/lb), net was $89.43. I predicted a net of $91.12, an overestimate of $1.69 or about 2% (which I consider quite a reasonable margin of error). As usual a few items were bumped up and a few were dinged (I guess no more shipping Li-ion button batteries...). As for the question above about laptop boards- I had exactly one in the lot and it was listed separately in the "value recovered report", pegged at $4.00/lb (it also happened to be a large-socket board).
I'm no big player here but am tickled to have this outlet for relatively small piles of stuff. We'll see if I ever get to the volumes necessary to pare down on the shipping costs...

I have sent a few emails since early last week and have yet to get a reply.
The "online operator" on the website just keeps saying "please wait for a site operator to respond", I have checked every hour or so for the last six business days.
I got a reply the next day. They might be really busy. You can try contacting them through here as well.
Like clockwork.......Send material wait a few days then get check.........Repeat over and over for best results........Trust these guys with plenty of material each month never been let down......Payout always fair............checks always good.......what else can be said

ya know, dealing with Mario and the CFCS staff, well, it's getting really boring. It's become... just the samo samo. I mean, I tear down a bunch of material, sort it the best I can, tape up the boxes, ship them with a prepaid label, take naps, and then...chachingggggggggggggggggggggg mysteriously, money shows up. This same routine, just seems to happen over, and over, and over again.
Now, my biggest complaint, is the timing. I sent some boxes off on my way to the airport last week. Went to Phoenix to see my new grand daughter. And, on Monday, I was rudely interrupted with a chachingggggggggg, which happened to be a bit larger of a chachinggggggggg than I expected. WELLLLLLLL my naps were on Arizona time and not EST! Just think it rude to wake an ole feller up like that! :p
