Just got the check for yet another pallet of material and I still have nothing but good to say about CFCS. I'm impressed with the quick sorting and payment. The best part was, they paid me over $1000 more than what I was thinking I'd get. Definitely a great company to deal with
any word on new pricing structure on mboards......just wandering because if I buy this week at current prices they may be different by the time I can get the material to you
wow you guys are on top of it.......went outside to try to box my boards up and already had an answer thru email!!
What are you getting for the high grade flat screen TV blue boards with the long gold strip in them per LB?
Not always real easy for me to find time to get a load of material out of here because I drop at a freight terminal, Mario kept at making arrangements for me on a one day notice so I could drop my stuff the next morning and I had my Bill of Lading in hand at 10pm! As always it was graded and paid before a speck of dust could find a home on the pallet and as always I have not a regret in the world for sending the fruits of my labor to a stand up outfit! These folks are super!
I know there have been changes to the board categories, so will we be seeing updated pricing or are prices still good? :)
Thanks to Ewasted and his team for the great service provided to me. I have been scrapping for years but just started aggressively processing e-scrap and with their help I am off to a great start.
Already on my third shipment and putting together 4th and I'm having fun doing it ! You guys rock !
New price list attached! New way of classifying motherboards as well. This is applicable to any loads received today and on.
Material received last week will still receive pricing based on previous list and sorting method.
Thanks!
how would older apple mboards be graded as they really don't have a socket.......usually processor is soldered on
loving the new pricing, got my check and as always great service and glad to have good buyers out there
personally this pricing hurts me as I get a majority of p4 stuff from gov surplus...........Oh well ewasted has to do whats best for himself and his company!!
I like it that china bds can now get a decent price. Buyers here, Long Island, were offering much less. Finger cards and dvd bds are up too. Looks good Mario.
china boards only saw .20/lb increase while P4 boards took a .40/lb hit
I would imagine the last thing you would want is another line item, but is there any possibility for better prices on P4 MOBs with the gold finger?
Hello
We are going to see what we can do... this is a big switch for us. Honestly don't see too many of these to begin with so it may take a little while to make a decision on it.
...and what about boards that had a slot processor? are they considered large or small socket? sorry I don't know their proper title!
Hello
Looking at two categories right now -
Large socket - Pentium 3 and older boards (includes slots) also see below:
Socket size of 1 3/4" or higher
Small Socket - Newer than Pentium 3
Socket size of 1 1/2" or smaller
Will post photos, but it is pretty standard with what other buyers do now.
I just boxed up another 30 lbs of e-scrap (I know- overwhelming, isn't it?) that I'll drop off over lunch.
I have to say that I appreciate the new motherboard categories- it's simpler and in many cases makes predicting the potential value of whole computers a little easier.
There are two things that are sort of "bugging" me though- I went ahead and took the metal brackets off the gold finger boards even though the policy explicitly states you don't have to. I guess I'm secretly somehow hoping they get priced a little better but, if not, I will have shot myself in the foot. Oh well, at least I have a slightly larger collection of jack screws...
Also, I took a leap of faith and sent in my meager CPU collection- in some cases there was only one of a particular type. Depending on how you read what's online, either there *are* minimum quantities or weights, or there *aren't*. I have to assume it is "better"/more efficient for Ewasted to receive larger quantities of any particular item, but then I also assume that if they are willing to tolerate (even encourage) folks to send in 30 lbs of stuff at a time that they can (and will?) weigh out and pay for relative handfuls of higher-valued items.
Live and learn, I suppose- cheers!

just had another great transaction with Mario and the crew.. thanks again.
Hello!
We are trying to make things easier... sometimes this ends up being more difficult.
There are no minimums on CPUs, we go through all of them. We can't make a list of all the different types, there are hundreds. So we sometimes have to mix and match ,especially if low quantities of each type. Does this help?
This brings up a lingering question I've had. For those of us that deal with small quantities, how can we help you make sure we get paid for categories where we only have one item? For example, a box with mostly motherboards (most are P4) but two are dual socket server, and one telecom board. I don't want to wait until I have a box full of telecom and a box full of dual socket server boards (it could be years). What can I do to make sure I don't just get paid motherboards for all of the box?
This is what I do....tape or tie the different boards together. Mark the tape what you believe they are or tape a post it to them if you tie them up. For dvd boards i bag them and write on the bag what they are. Same for hard drive boards and small telecom, printer and modem boards. They are still going to open the bags to see whats inside but if they are separated in the main box then they should classify and price each package. It will probably make it easier for them to sort and separate as well.
I have sent multiple shipments to Mario and the one time there was a problem it was in my favor due to them classifying a board in a higher grade than what it should have been. Have faith in your buyer guys.
just to add to confusion (sorry)....laptop boards going as the large socket price??........Sorry to ask all these questions but when I go to a computer store or something I have to pay a fair price then be able to sell for a profit.........THANKS!!!!
Nope. I'm an Ewasted guy myself, but facts are facts. It's the first time I can remember them having more line items higher rather than lower. Not enough to sway me though.
Mario, why the significant whack to trimmed cards? They had been consistent with MB & CD/DVD board pricing. I liked the convenience of boxing all my DVD & trimmed cards together. Assume you'd like them separated going forward?
They weren't really whacked. They are worth less... hence the bump to CD/DVD boards. We made a blend before and that has ended due to considerably less old boards to mix in. Now we have to separate by socket type.
If you pack a box with both materials, keep all of one type towards the bottom and the remaining material on top.
I highly agree with BC when it comes to adding small quantity, or even just separating stuff. I sent him several boxes at one time, took the time to bag things up using ziploc's. Didn't have any issues with them processing everything, an it was all spot on. Had I not separated them, I can only imagine how long it would have taken them to sort my boxes. Rubber Bands work also!
An like E said..no min. on the cpu's. Last time I sent a batch in, I had few that didn't quite make a lb, an was paid accordingly an very much to my satisfaction.
High prices are great, but I find..being quick to reply to emails, answering questions, taking time to come on here an help educate your sellers, and one of the best reps I've encountered when it comes to a buyer..trumps that high price.
An for that..I stay loyal. It's hard to find a company in this day n'age that is as upstanding as Mario an co. Good folks, good service, an they don't jerk me around. That to me is a :winner:
Keep up the good work Mario an crew! Someday me an the cooler will make it out that way to visit in person.

I wanted to post this so there is no confusion.......I am disappointed in the p4 boards being less valuable but I am going to have to change up my biz plan accordingly.........I am going to continue to use ewasted and crew as I am preparing to ship off more material today..........I agree that their customer service is top notch and I thank the lord that I am not sitting on a ton of small socket stuff!!!
Did Mobos just jump down 40 cents? Wasnt it just at $2.40 and now its at $2.00? That's a pretty substantial decrease to some profits for me.
Ewasted,
I did an on line survey for CFCS and one of the questions was about prices changing, what will the outcome be? Will you change prices as needed or are you going to go to a bi weekly or monthly price updated structure?
Hello
We are looking to hold pricing for generally 2 weeks to a month at a time.
The customers we service prefer stability over pricing fluctuation.
The caveat is pricing is STILL subject to change at ANY time giving major market changes, or other reasons relating to how we price. I think the last three years on here are a good indication that we dont have to change pricing too often.
Thanks!
Sorry if I'm asking a question that's already been answered (i promise - I looked for a little bit) but What are Media Boards? Also, what category do the boards out of printers fall in? Routers and Satellite Boxes?
** Side Note: Have had so many awesome transactions with CFCS that it seems redundant for me to keep posting about them unless I can think of something better than "Went great" or something of that nature - The way that they conduct business made me loyal beyond price differences - If they buy it : I'm selling it to CFCS!!***
those boards vary greatly, most of them will probably fall into one of the motherboard catagories. sometimes the routers are better. Switches (rack mount router) are usually better. all of this stuff varies greatly my make, model, and age. Handling them and sending pic in for price quotes will help you get a rough idea over time.
your best bet if to send pics in, especially since he is adjusting his sorting methods right now.
I figured as much.... oh, if only there were simple answers right? lol
I may just keep them all separated & whatever happens, happens. With all the changes going on I don't want to have to bug him over remedial stuff like this.
