An update, some of you may notice the price sheets are moving to google drive. I've done this at the request of my regulars and to make it easier for newcomers to see what they have and it's value. If you are using a smartphone you can SAVE them to your sheets app and can use it as a quick reference guide while you work. I'm trying to figure out a website plug in that will let you pick what you have and it's quantity so it will create your inventory FOR you and because im disliking fedex more by the day...im hoping to automate the inventory and shipping. How it would work is like this:

You would peruse the buy sheets to see if you have anything I am buying. Then you would go to my website and pick the things you have and the quantity. You would then be able to ask for shipping supplies if you needed them and if not, pack and weigh your box then submit the form to receive a prepaid shipping label. I unfortunately have to approve the labels...it can't be automated. It could be weeks or months before I get it to work...and if it's truly beyond my capability I will hire someone to do the work.

Also. In the last four weeks I've had a DOZEN first timers and I'd like to give you all a friendly reminder to review the service you received!

Some changes! First, you guys have probably noticed the large share of the price lists have been condensed onto google drive. If anyone has issues seeing those price lists just let me know. Next, I am ramping up to buy appliance logic boards for those scrappers who want to bring in additional cash. high efficiency washers...newer stoves and even some high efficiency furnaces all have a "logic board" or control board that handles all the functions of the appliance. If there has been a mechanical failure or an element/pump or something else went bad but the appliance still tries to work...pull that board and mail it off. It's nice to know what it came from so try to put the make/model of the appliance with each board. The prices vary widely, but can go as high as 50 bucks. I can promise that it would be worth your time. I would also like to offer TV logic, timing control and power board purchasing on all 2012 and newer led/lcd tvs larger than 40" with screen defects/breakage but the unit still powers up. Contact me about any of the above and we can figure out how to get you started.

Hey, I still actually have about 40 TV's with broken screens (ie they were damaged in shipping to big box retailers). I can see what I have and we can see what sort of pricing you will have (most have 4 boards and then there are also speakers etc). PM me if you like. If it makes sense, I can start pulling them. I just do not have the time to ebay those.

Of course interested! Usually a damaged panel should still give you a solid power on light regardless for the first few seconds. If it blinks out (5, 7, 11 or 13 blinks) thats a board fault. 4 is a power fault and is ok for our purposes. This is exactly what im looking for, recent tvs with broken screens or tvs that were never sold because of shipping breakage.

I will see what I have and then we can figure out the details....wish I had known several months ago...I had about 100 of them. I sold several including some larger ones off to someone where they could strip and sell the parts. I will know by this weekend what I have.

Please see the google drive spreadsheets for updated pricing and new items on the buy list.

We have added the following: A full list of motherboards including their descriptions. As always, feel free to contact us with questions. If you take a picture of the board (so I can see the model number...) and text it to me I can give you an estimated value. We also encourage sellers to LEAVE the cpu in the board to protect the pins. Don't worry we buy the cpu too.

The graphics card list has been expanded as well, to include some older cards all the way back to the good old days of gaming, such as 9800GT, various elder cards with special PCBs or "overclock editions" and as always, any card with HDMI.

It has been asked more than once if I will produce a shipping label for you. I can and will, but it will be far more effective for you to simply tell me how much shipping was or send it in a standard rate box if your sending reimbursable material. The reimbursement is ONLY for i series processorsy sent in a single box. Another question has been about pallet shipping. Please give my posted phone number (at the top of this page) and email address to the shipper so that neither party has a delay in processing. Pallet shipments are processed USUALLY in a NET30 or less basis. Keep in mind motherboard and graphics card testing is time consuming and to be patient as we maximize your scrap value for you.

Lastly a big thanks to my regulars and the new sellers who have come along in the last few months, HAPPY SCRAPPING!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I just wanted to let you know that I recently sent TJ about 88 cpu's and had a great selling experience. I want to thank him for this, and encourage you to use his service to get more money for your i-series cpu's. Thanks TJ!!!

    Army -

sent you an email to your listed email address the other day on some tv's (the boards in lcd tv's). I hadn't heard back, so I thought it might have gotten overlooked. LMK if you are still buying and what you are looking for based on the questions in that email). I have TV's sitting ready to have boards pulled and finally have the time to do them.

    Thanks

I got your email. I would like boards from TVs with broken LCDs at this time, as in physically damaged. The reason is, my testing equipment is limited, while I can test the inverter and power boards of most tvs quite easily it's difficult to test main boards and timing control (I can on some models, I do keep common panels for testing). It would be even better if you provided pictures of the TVs damage and it's model number tag with the build date. Some Tvs have boards worth hundreds of dollars, such as the larger tvs and some smart tvs or even the newer 4k. I hope that helps and next time I'll make sure my response email goes to the right address.

TJ recently finished my shipment, great communication and quick processing and payment. Great price list on google docs, easy to navigate, and up to date. I would definitely recommend TJ and Wisconsin Specialty Recycling.

    IMPORTANT INFO:

I will be unavailable from January 5th through the 8th. We are going to CES in Vegas. The reason for our trip is to gauge the future of our niche industry, see cool tech, geek out on stuff and network. It's the only break I have had not due to illness since I started so if you have boxes with me and they aren't done yet by the 5th my apologies on the delay. Everyone who has a delivered package NOW will be settled before our trip.

If that includes my boxes, then you are ambitious.

Heh, it would be wouldn't it. But no, yours are going to take time. I am going to make an effort to put incompletes together and ordered parts in advance of doing so. Some of that stuff is coming from china (caddies...lots and lots of caddies with the 90 degree sata adapters). I will correct that statement, everyone but you, yours is simply too large to deal with in a few days. However if you get me that second box of procs, I will get those done immediately.

AMD chip prices are starting to fall with bulldozer chips sunsetting in wake of coming Zen chips. If you are sitting on phenom or fx chips now is the time to get them out the door, I suspect prices will be down to 50% of today on AMD cpus by March.
