Don't know if it's solid info, but i read somewhere recently that the PM yields could be as high as 2% by weight. That could be a bit more than refining for tantalum recovery.
There are no PM's in Tantalum Capacitor SMD Scrap other then Silver and that equals to exactly 1.3% Ag in Capacitors.
1'000/Kilograms of processing equal 1.3/Kilograms of Ag or in Dollar terms about $650 USD.
