The above product of the metal cased capacitors are Electrolytic Aluminum Capacitors - These are not Tantalum.

The below Black do seem to be Tantalum - But - we would need a sample to check.

The yellow ones are NOT Tantalum Capacitors

Yes you are! The black capacitors are definitely Tantalum.

I was always told to look for the "+" symbol. Most of the time the "+" symbol is on the Tantalum itself. But in some circumstances I have seen the "+" symbol on the board where it is mounted.

The positive sign is not always on Tantalum Capacitors - As most of the markings get taken off by years of use on the boards. I would suggest just to learn the types of capacitors and just go after them. Their are some other capacitors that have positive signs on them and that are not Tantalum Capacitors.
