Any use or interest in vintage motor / tachometer / generators?

I have about 10 these vintage devices that I think came from aviation.
Some are labeled Tachometer Generator, and others are Control Motor.
I don't find much information online.

Are they of any use or value to anyone? Is there any option for recycling them?
I want to get rid of them, and would prefer find a home other than the trash.

It's hard to say if something would be of interest to someone. You just never know. It's a pretty big world out there. If you've got something to sell ... there just might be someone looking to buy. Sometimes it's a museum looking to preserve the past when it comes to the vintage stuff. You might try listing it on E-Bay to see anyone bites. Out of an abundance of caution ... you might consider shipping only to buyers within the U.S. There are export restrictions on some kinds of electronics.

Most communities have something in the way of e-waste recycling options. Sometimes it's a regular dropoff location nearby. Others sponsor e-waste events every so often.

It's probably better not to just toss the stuff in the trash. A lot of pre- Y2K electronics used lead solder in the circuit boards. Other vintage electronics had other kinds of toxic nasties. Some have small amounts of precious metals that can be recovered.

He wont have any trouble finding a buyer willing to pay any duty's or tariffs imposed by foreign governments. A lot of WWII stuff manufactured in the US during that era was sent globally to her allies under the lend lease act. But the fact remains country of origin which refers to manufacture remains as USA.

Most WWII dials used radium that enabled reading the dials during darkness apparently more radio active than uranium. In today's world might pose a logistics issue.

I dunno ... international trade is complicated and chaotic these days. We just cut off trade talks with Canada over it's new Digital Services Tax. Prolly best to just Keep It Simple Sam. That way your bottom line doesn't take a hit with things like tariff taxes and currency exchange fees.

ETA: Update : Was just reading in AP news that Canada backed off on the Digital Services Tax slated to go into effect on Monday. Trade talks have resumed.

International trade really does seem to pretty chaotic these days. It's hard to do good business when things are like this.
