A lot of WWII stuff manufactured in the US during that era was sent globally to her allies under the lend lease act. But the fact remains country of origin which refers to manufacture remains as USA.

I dunno ... international trade is complicated and chaotic these days. We just cut off trade talks with Canada over it's new Digital Services Tax. Prolly best to just Keep It Simple Sam. That way your bottom line doesn't take a hit with things like tariff taxes and currency exchange fees.
ETA: Update : Was just reading in AP news that Canada backed off on the Digital Services Tax slated to go into effect on Monday. Trade talks have resumed.
International trade really does seem to pretty chaotic these days. It's hard to do good business when things are like this.
