Well I just shipped my biggest blunder to date. I had an old 6MP Canon camera given to me by a friend which sat in my utility closet for 2 or so years. Around 3am I was listing some items and decided to try and sell it. I checked sold auctions and had a pretty good guess what it could go for on its own, but it was a complete setup so I put a by it now price that I was comfortable with--at that time. I literally listed it and it was no longer than opening another browser to check the listing when someone bought it. In all of my 14+ years on
eBay that was by far the quickest sale...maybe 5-10 seconds. I'm guessing I had under-priced it because I received an offer for $75 more from someone else, but I honored the sale and chalked it up to experience. I also remembered to be grateful because 15 seconds earlier I did not have that money nor a need for the camera. It was also a learning lesson to not go and list things late into the night on a half charged brain.
Live, learn and move on.
Anybody else have similar moments of what was I thinking?
