Same here ComputerScrapper. Glad to have you back around. Trust me, I am not all that brave. My biggest fear when doing it, is that the camcorder is not positioned correctly and that I am doing all of that talking for nothing lol.

Camera is one thing, but if I had to be on stage, not so sure about that one lol.

My wife bought two HD cameras...One for the house and one for the business...She said I should be shooting videos for customers and so on to help them learn.....I tried in vain to get my employees to do it but they have bigger camera fright than I do lol....I guess since it is a new year I will have to just jump in their and do it....My luck they catch me cutting off a finger on camera or something lol

That would be my luck. Me more worried about the position of the camera, and off goes a few digits lol.

What type of camera did your wife and you buy?

    Thanks for the compliment.

I think that is one of the most common names anymore. A lot of places that I go to, I hear the name "George" and immediately respond to it. Not thinking, there is other George's out there. I get some weird looks sometimes lol

She got me a Sony HD Digital....Pretty nice unit....She has the same one and uses it for the grandkids and the dogs lol....I have taken mine out of the box and played with it a little bit but never really done anything with it. We have a lot of customers who are asking for videos on sorting and tearing things down that I want to get made but I need to get past this irrational fear of mine lol.....

That is what I got too...mine is a Sony HandyCam 60x optical zoom 4gb. dcr-sx40. I like it myself. Need to get a tripod though for it so I can do break downs. Other wise I am sure that something bad would happen using just 1 hand.

I don't remember if it was Ebay or Amazon but Laura got us each a kit to go with the cameras....It includes a tripod (small table top model), lense cleaning kit and a carrying case...I think she paid like $5 each for them.

That is not bad at all. Could you ask her if she could provide a link? $5 is not bad at all. I need a table one, plus a bigger one, so when I am away from my desk doing tear downs. That one, will probably come from walmart or best buy..the big one.
