I also have some friends around that area and the FB statuses I was seeing were showing concern and fear. Hoping sincerely everyone turns out ok. I mean the consistent 100+ degree days witha one day break was just making everything drier by the day.



As a smoker, with no ashtray in my vehicle, I usually throw out butts. Not this summer and not ever again. I'm surprised we haven't had one in the DFW area where I am. I'm downtown Fort Worth, but my family is in a small town outside it with lots of open land and dried up fields.
