    spam.jpg might be a clue ?

Maybe the admin had to lock certain forum features down in order to stop the spammers ?

I dunno much about posting graphics. It used to be that average .jpg file sizes were somewhere around 100 kb.? They went to 1 mb as camera technology improved. Nowadays they are bigger than 5 mb.

Maybe it's got to do with re-sizing or something ? The graphics take up a lot of bandwidth on a forum. Additional bandwidth costs more money. This place probably isn't generating very much income for Andrew.
