Gold in the pan is from bonding wires inside of the chips, casting the copper into an abode for electro-refining will recover the plated gold.
Circuit boards have multiple layers of copper traces embedded within the board, some gold plating is through the holes where an IC or chip socket has legs.
Shaker table is an easy do it yourself project, 1/4 or 1/3 hp electric 1725 rpm is plenty of power, the stroke to agitate the table is 3/4".
For smaller batches of a few hundreds pounds of hammer mill product a simple centrifuge would do the same recovery as the shaker table.
Centrifuge can handle a pulp containing 60% solids, much faster at recovery than the table, uses less water and has a smaller footprint.
