I offer free shipping on many items I sell on ebay. The difference between a free ship and shipping charged is the price of the expected sale vs the cost of the item + shipping and fees. I bought 4 cell phones for a dollar a couple weeks ago. I checked sold auctions and found they were selling for $40+. I listed for $19.99 and offered free shipping. They sold and cost under $3 to ship. The markup I realized was considerable (I figure I turned a quarter into $14 once all was said and done and the charges and fees were paid), and I knew the shipping was going to be an insignificant factor in the profits. Honestly, and I do not want to come across as being critical of the OP's system, but I would not bother with the effort to turn $2 into $3. I did not see your vid yet (I am away from home and burning date to use the phone as a hotspot), but if the post by webuyselltradestuff could in any way be considered to be an accurate representation of the video, I would make an adjustment from a focus on quantity to a focus on quality.
I use ebay to sell yard sale buys into something I can flip again for profit or turned into a more permanent store of wealth.
