    Computer scrapping whoops:



    - early on I tossed old PCs - including motherboards and 286/386 processors because I couldn't imagine they had any value.
    - I scrapped DDR RAM - I didn't know PartTimeScrapper here would buy some of it for well above scrap value
    - I ripped out Cisco SFPs from fiber switches and threw them out (!!!!!!!!!) because they were the size of my little finger and looked useless. They sell for about $4000 new and several hundred used.

    Lesson learned: READ THIS FORUM and look at eBay to see what EVERYTHING sells for first.
