As they say it's 5 o'clock somewhere, so it's time for a drink. So the same must be true for midnight, a new day or a New Year. As I started my holiday at 5 pm tonight, I wanted something that makes a difference, so I opened a bottle of "Corner Creek" bourbon.
I like a good bourbon, this bottle has been setting unopened on a shelf in my bar for 5 or 6 years. I solved that problem tonight and I should have done so a long time ago. A very smooth bourbon that gives that good inside warmth that will do just as needed for the next 48 hours. Not one to make resolutions I can't keep, so this New Years resolution will be simple, "Drink often, but slowly".

Hobo keeping with the theme of your informative posting, that I'll call a public service announcement. My resolution to drink often, but slowly. I have poured another tumbler of the "good stuff", and a Toast to all here.

Hobo and all here at SMF, I wish all of you a safe, healthy, prosperous and very good "New Year".
