Have fun. Ebay only knows gibberish and bad gibberish. Only they can put an account into the red, then forget about it so when one goes to pay on it, the red doesn't exist but won't reestablish it.



I don't get nearly as much spam from google as I did from yahoo, but the occasional one gets through and it's usually about going back to school. Use to be about enhancements lol. Use to get telemarketers when I was on Time Warner but since switching to Verizon, haven't had a single one. I get the occasional call about donating to a cause or vote someone in to office or something along those lines.

Call them. Regardless of how you feel about their english. Handling things like this through email can end very badly, especially if turns out to be a Phishing scam. I got an email just the other day telling me my Wells Fargo account was compromised. To bad I never had Wells Fargo.

Information is big business an big money. Its really no surprise why they do it.

That's a perfect example of one that if I had a wells fargo account I would not follow the email but would close the email site and open up the wells fargo site.

There would be a notification at the bank web site once you have logged in if the email was real. For me its the best protection I can avail to myself. Mike

It can be a pain in the rear. Someone tried to use my E-Mail address to register for something with Playstation. I had to contact the company- I told them that it was a business E-Mail, and we take security seriously. A few hours later, they had it corrected.

I'd talk with eBay. If you can escalate the case, you'll liekly get someone with excellent English. The Tier II people have been very nice, courteous, and easy to understand for me.

If you do ANYTHING online, you have no privacy. Everyone's credit card info and other info is out there and it's a crap shoot whether or not it will actually be used by some nefarious being. Things like passwords and captchas and even signing your receipts if using debit/credit cards are all meaningless. It's called security theater. It's meant to make you "feel" safe.


Now, I do feel that selling this info by businesses you use should be illegal. If people want your service they will search you out. Buts it's impossible to stop now.
