Kinda figured that you were joking Burt but there are many who would take offense to what i said.
I was talking with a Vet from operation Desert Storm years back. Gotta choose my words carefully, but he said that many of the Iraqi troops didn't survive the conflict. There were many. Their bodies had to be disposed of so they were buried in mass unmarked graves wherever they fell. In the chaos of war there was no documentation.
It's sad to think that a person could be so completely erased like that never to be seen or heard from again. ( I always wondered what it was like for their loved ones back home.)
There are a lot of folks out there that would find that notion appalling yet the same fate awaits us all.
Yin & Yang ? :
It brings us full circle back to where the thread started about moods & finding balance. They say that our mind is of two parts. There's the half that deals with reason and logic. The other half is the emotional side where our moods & creativity are found.
Most folks favor one side or the other. The people who are emotionally driven and egotistical seem to suffer more with the hate monkey.
The trick is learning how to shift over to the other side so that one can become objective & detached. If you " feel" anything it's just a sense of peace and contentment.
