The wife and I concoct an 8lb homemade zza. Yes it is 8LBS. I roll my fat ass onto the scale and weigh in, then grab the pre-cooked pizza and weigh in again.
Homemade crust, sauce with some Italian seasoning, garlic.
Having a son in the cattle industry insures there is plenty of beef, then some sausage, Canadian bacon, American Bacon, and some ham cubes.
Then Veggies, but not too much. Green peppers, Red Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms, Chives.
Cheese: Everything in the fridge. Heavy on the cheese. Even tho I am lactose intolerant. I'll suffer through it.
425 for 40 min, then broil the cheese nice.
Let it rest for 10 minutes while you drool all over yourself.
Nothing can touch it. 1/2 a piece for the wife, 1 and 1/2 for me. Pizza leftovers for the week.
Then we do the deep dish...
