    Indiana Governor starting a State-Run News Outlet

    Gov. Mike Pence is starting a state-run taxpayer-funded news outlet that will make pre-written news stories available to Indiana media, as well as sometimes break news about his administration, according to documents obtained by The Indianapolis Star.



    Pence is planning in late February to launch "Just IN," a website and news outlet that will feature stories and news releases written by state press secretaries and is being overseen by a former Indianapolis Star reporter, Bill McCleery.

    State-run media??? Like in Iran and China and Venezuela??? Oh yeah, we have state run media in the USA also. It's called ABC, CBS, P-MSNBC, NY Times.
    I'd rant too. But at least Indiana Gov. comes right out and admits they are state run media. The others (Mainstream Media) claim they are objective.

    Sledge- You should somehow get them to talk about scrapping like making them want to do something about CRTs so Pence and his minions can crow about what they've done. Make sure you make them think its their idea. Work the system. Recycling is all warm and fuzzy for everyone including politicans, no???

    Well, at least they will tell us what they want us to hear. Maybe they will pass the internet fairness thingy so we won't have all that background independent thought stuff to have to worry about misinforming us.

    Good thing I live far enough out in the sticks that I can't get CBC. Except over the internet, and I choose not to.
