If anyone ever has biz with this individual I urge caution.....Took several months and me threatening mail fraud to get payment........Finally did but was a big hassle.....

Last I'd heard was he turned the business over to the other 2 partners that he didn't stiff. Heck, the employees were not getting paid on a regular basis either. I had to visit the Prosecuting Attorney for his county to get the money he owed me.

sad but true.....Did he get on drugs or something?

I think life just got in the way, or grew the business too big too fast.

I'm starting to worry about Mechanic688 (Mike)...he hasn't been on in almost a week.

I had to check into the FtWayne VA hospital with pneumonia and water in my lungs and they kept me about 10 days. Let me out Sun afternoon.
You guys can't get rid of me that easy,,,

Thanks for this thread Kz. It made me take a look at old threads wondering why some of these members are no longer here. Besides learning more, it also made me take a look at myself and my attitude sometimes when iam log on here. I get a little frustrated sometimes with questions I know are answered in the archives. I haven't asked many questions since I've been a member. Because every question I've had I've researched and found my answer and more. But that's me, I love hunt,to research. Not everyone is this way. And just because I think they should do the due diligence as I see it doesn't make me right. A lot people need just a little guidance. Some need more. And we all need some. So for no now on when I get frustrated iam just gonna log off ,go down to my shop and grab my bfh and smash some yokes.lol.

I Bull Sh!t you not...back in grade school we lived next to a family with the last name Puffer and they had a daughter named Patty. For her sake I hope she changed her name when she was able.

I knew a guy in college who's last name was D**khaut (say that fast 3 times). He wasn't overly graceful with the ladies, poor sucker. His "friends" affectionaly called him "T**t" (where's the "shocked" smiley???).

The fact that GeorgeB tried to create a forum almost exactly like this one a couple of years ago, may have had something to do with his disappearance.

Personally, I don't think SMF can be matched. No more than the Beatles, rolling stones, or pink Floyd. It's the timing ,people and circumstances coming together that make things great.
