My silly motto to my wife and daughter is "Families that Scrap together stay together!" My wife is the mechanic in our family but I can sure destroy some stuff!! My daughter has been taught from the time that she could talk that "Metal equals money!" Scrapping is a great teacher and hobby. It teaches math, chemistry, and come one... nothing beats smashing the snot out of something with a hammer!!!
Home schoolers should be able to get credit for scrapping!!
My daughter loves using the magnet and telling me what the "good stuff" is opposed to the junk...lol
