I've had Greendot in the past as well and the only complaint I have, happened the last time I loaded my card. Usually, at most locations, I've picked up the reload card for $4.95 and made a deposit with no trouble. The last time however, I had to wait 30 minutes before the funds were available. Normally not a big deal but I was picking up a trailer and needed the cash on my card for the trailer deposit. So I had to run back home and just grab some cash for the deposit. Not a huge inconvenience considering I've used them and other prepaid cards for years without any problems. I agree with Sir. I like the Visa prepaid cards more then the Master card. In the past I have activated the card, signed up for an online account, registered my info, and then had no problem making online transactions. The other prepaid cards I use, usually just have a monthly maintenance fee of $4-$5. I've been able to use my cards online and anywhere else I've traveled with no problem, besides the one above
