    if you are getting dirty looking or funky smelling gas up to your carberetor...id try adding an inline filter as close to the carb as you can....you may be able to add a filter then clean it out many many times and get rid of your problem....as much as i hate to say it you may need to drain your tank......

    have you put gas from a junk car in your tank latley....i never do this anymore...i always used to but after a few bad deals i quit....if junk car gas looks and smells new i will save it for the push mower but i never put it in my vehicle anymore
