    Plus the oil filter is upside down. The twin dizzys is common on the 12a rotary before 1980. Being a former rotor head, I've owned 3 rx-7's, I would bout bet anything it's a rotary.

    Definitely a 12a. I dont think the early 13b had twin dizzys (correct me if im wrong)

    Rotary was my first thought but when I showed my kid (into Honda's and Mitsubishi's) he didn't think so. The fact that the ole man does know a little about imports is sure to cause an eye roll.

    Funny that I'm concerned about weather moving in when this has sat in the elements for years. Tomorrow I will return to pull this a several other blocks from the field.
