Most recent find. once in a lifetime

Found this while going through my latest scrap car. Best find yet. 10k gold ring. Sitting right in the door storage pocket. No idea what its even worth. Id be happy with anything!

Whenever I have found rings and what not in the past (which doesn't happen very often) I take it to my local pawn shop. He can tell you if it's real or not, and also make you an offer on it. You will probably only get melt value, but it's fast cash.

or how about u clean it up good & keep it for your big day?

i know the cash will be useful now
but who knows how expensive a ring like that might be when u want to get married.

    just my opinion.

Oh no man.. a woman will never want a re-used ring unless it was his grandmother or great grand-mothers!! His best bet.. sell it, pocket the cash and if he wants- put it into a "ring fund" for "someday!"

you might think of asking the previous car owner, some things have much greater sentimental value then just a few bucks.

    Agreed.

If that is not an option then I think that ARA is the best deal for scrap gold. They will refine and send you something like 97% of gold value and return the stone as well.

Here is their website. I have used them and they are great.

    I highly recommend.
