    travels....

Well, I started a 2 week stint of going "home" to visit family. Not much buying or selling going on the next couple of weeks.

Hey, @mikeinreco, I'll be in your neck of the woods for the next week. some of wife's family lives in Knoxville.

    Happy scrapping everyone!

Just checking in while on vacation. I am having a great time so far. My wife is a bit upset that I'm collecting my family's scrap computers, Christmas lights, etc while we visit and is afraid we won't have room in the car to bring all the kids back, but I can pack it tight.

Oh, and the good news, I've not had any advertising in about 2 weeks and people are still calling me. I have a full day of pickups already scheduled for Friday.

It'd probably be cheaper to ship the kids back..at least one of them. I've picked up 2 desktops, about 5 pounds of phones, and over 50 pounds of christmas lights. That don't include all of the cables and wiring from other things. I only wish I had kept all of the aluminum cans from the beginning of the trip...at least I could have taken them to the local scrap yard for some gas money.

hek, go ahead and brake the stuff down, just shaking out the towers alone should free up lots of space

I could break one of them down. One of them works pretty good and just needs a reinstall of the software. I think it is going to be my lab...er basement...computer

Made it home from vacation. Back to work today with four scheduled pickups. I told my wife that we are going to have to park in the driveway instead of the garage for a few days...she said, "as long as I can park in the garage in winter, I don't care." YES! My storage area just expanded...for a few months anyway. Glad to be back.

My neighbor just put one of these up to hide his boat/trailer/mower/etc. in. keeps things out of site and out of mind. And not real expensive either.
