I just had total knee replacement 10 weeks ago and will be heading back to my full time on Monday. I was happy that I had a pile to work on after the first month. THE best thing I did was have a pile to work when the time came. Good luck and all the best to you. In 6 months you won't even remember you were hurt.
My main issue was the biceps tendon was dislocated from the bone completely, and a had other areas of tearing and fraying.... Basicly and really trashed the shoulder. thanks for the good wishes...

I ripped my (lower) Distal Tendon completely of the Radius bone a couple of years ago. Still had about 50% use till the surgery then it felt like a boat anchor for about a week. Actually found a forum for others recovering but they were mostly body builders it seemed and I just couldn't relate. Muscles are for using not for looking at.
